WarfighterForged LLC is committed to transparency. This page explains how we make money, how we maintain editorial independence, and what our readers should know about the content we publish.

Affiliate Relationships

WarfighterForged participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we earn commissions when readers click links on our Site and make qualifying purchases from participating retailers.

We currently participate in or may participate in the following affiliate programs:

  • Amazon Associates Program
  • Impact, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, and other affiliate networks
  • Direct affiliate programs with tactical gear, fitness, and consumer product brands

When you purchase through our affiliate links, you pay nothing extra. The retailer pays us a commission from their marketing budget. This revenue helps us keep the Site running and continue publishing free content for the military community.

The WarfighterForged Standard

Affiliate relationships never determine our reviews, rankings, or recommendations. A product does not get recommended because it pays us. A product gets recommended because it earns its place through real-world performance.

Here is what that means in practice:

  • We review products based on merit, not commissions. If two products are listed with affiliate links and one is genuinely better, we say so — regardless of which pays a higher commission.
  • We disclose all material connections. Every article containing affiliate links carries a clear disclosure at the top, in accordance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines.
  • We tell you when products fail. Products we recommend against are named specifically. "Best of" lists include honest assessments of downsides, not just hype.
  • We distinguish sponsored content from editorial content. If we ever publish sponsored or paid content, it will be clearly labeled as such.

Free or Discounted Products

From time to time, WarfighterForged may receive free or discounted products from brands for review purposes. When this occurs, we will disclose it in the relevant article. Receipt of a free product does not guarantee a positive review.

FTC Compliance

The Federal Trade Commission requires clear disclosure of material connections between reviewers and product manufacturers. WarfighterForged complies with the FTC's Endorsement Guides by:

  • Disclosing affiliate relationships prominently at the top of each article containing affiliate links
  • Disclosing when products are received free of charge for review
  • Disclosing any sponsored partnerships clearly and conspicuously

Other Revenue Sources

In addition to affiliate commissions, WarfighterForged may generate revenue through:

  • Sales of digital products (training programs, guides, ebooks)
  • Sales of physical products (apparel, merchandise)
  • Display advertising (e.g., Google AdSense, Mediavine)
  • Vendor directory listings and featured placements (clearly labeled when present)
